**Google Search** is a pre-built workflow in the side-panel **Library**. Play it on the current `www.google.com` Search results tab. It collects the blocks you turn on and can visit source pages. It does not type a keyword or open a constructed search URL.

## How to run it

Open `www.google.com`, run a search so the tab is a results page (`/search`), then open Tab Automation and choose **Google Search** in **Library**. **Play** uses that tab.

Save and Play can ask for a Version 1 key in Settings. Graph automations do not.

The trained host is `www.google.com` with English headings. Other Google TLDs, the Google homepage, and Images are not this workflow. Request a regional variant from [Contact](/contact?topic=library).

## What it collects

Turn each block on or off:

- **AI Overview** — text and sources (**Scrape Main AIO**)
- **Organic Results** — links on the page. Defaults to every result on the page. **Limit results** caps the count at 20.
- **People also ask** — questions. **Open each question** expands answers and sources. **Collect more questions** uses Show more (up to 8 extras).
- **Related searches** — People also search for, collected only. Visiting those URLs would open another Google search.
- **Nearby places**

**Continue to the next page** paginates, up to 5 pages. **Delay between pages** is 1,000–30,000 ms (default 2,000). A run stores at most 120 items.

## Visiting sources

**Visit sources** can open pages for AI Overview, organic results, People also ask, and nearby places, up to 20 visits. Visited pages can store title, URL, a 2,000-character visible-text excerpt, and optional HTML (capped). Organic visits default on; the others default off.

A corroborated captcha pauses the run. It does not solve the captcha. Solve it in the tab, then Resume.

## History and download

Results and run history stay in `chrome.storage.local` on this computer. The sheet can **Download JSON**. **Clear history** removes recent-run counters for that workflow. Removing the card deletes the current scrape stored on it; shared history stays until you clear it.

## Not this workflow

Does not compile into graph steps — that is [Add Step](/steps). Does not click consent, cover every TLD, visit related-search URLs, or sync results to the cloud. It is not listed on the Version 1 price card as a paid lock.
