Use Send Alert when a point in the run should get your attention. It has three separate outputs: an OS notification (Chrome asks the operating system to show a banner), a sound, and a webhook. Add Step inserts the OS notification and sound on. Webhook POSTs to Slack, Discord, ntfy, or any HTTPS endpoint you saved in Settings. Each output has its own Test.
Destinations are a shared library. This step picks its own destinations and an optional message override. A second Send Alert keeps a separate list and override. Repeat Each cycle and When it stops pick separately. Nothing posts until you select a destination and turn Webhook on. Chrome POSTs directly from this computer; Chrome must be running. A failed POST does not pause the graph.
{{name}} inserts a Values name in the webhook message.
It does not replace Repeat Each cycle or When it stops. Those stay on the Repeat End block and stay off until you enable them.
Place this step inside If / Else Then or Else, or after Wait / Delay Until, when those moments should notify. If does not own alerts.
OS notifications stack. Clicking a banner focuses that tab. The extension needs the notifications permission.
How to add it
Add Step → Send Alert. Leave desktop notification and sound on, or turn one off. Add a destination in Settings, then on this step turn Webhook on, pick destinations, and optionally override the message. Use Test on Desktop, Sound, or Webhook to fire that output only.
If the desktop banner is silent, start with OS permission for Google Chrome — not website notification settings. Webhook Test is a separate check; it does not use that OS permission.
Limits and related controls
An alert does not check the page. Use If / Else for a check at that point, or Wait Until to wait for a later condition. When Send Alert follows Until, it also runs after a timeout. Pause when this wait succeeds skips later steps, including the alert. End Each cycle and When it stops remain separate controls.
